The Alice Smith School
This well established international school first opened its doors in 1946 and is one of the oldest British International Schools in SE Asia.
Today the school caters for approximately 1600 students aged from 3 – 18 years, where over 65% of students are expatriates, representing over 50 nationalities.
The school aims to provide a caring and supportive atmosphere in order for the children to thrive and maximise their potential academically, socially and emotionally. It promotes a love of learning in order to create confident, creative, critical and compassionate learners
The school has excellent facilities and is located on two sites, the Primary and Secondary Campus. The Primary Campus includes, interactive whiteboards, a virtual learning platform, three libraries, a hall, a double-storey gym, swimming pool, three computer suites, a performing arts centre, a sports field, two sets of adventure play equipment and three playgrounds. The Secondary Campus includes a swimming pool, indoor sports hall, rugby and football pitches, an outdoor basketball court and four tennis courts. The performing arts centre includes two theatre halls six practice rooms and a recording studio. The expanded art space has been the site of exhibitions, recently expanded to allow exploration of other artistic mediums such as Digital Photography. The school also boasts Business, Media & Technology as well as Science centres.
