RAK Academy

This international school is an independent, co-educational international family of schools situated about one hour's drive from Dubai International Airport. Founded in 1975, it was the first international school in the northern region. Along with the Secondary School there are four Primary schools: three British Curriculum schools, and an International Baccalaureate  PYP school. There are approximately 3500 students across the academy, with 800+ in Secondary. 

The family of schools is fully accredited with the International Baccalaureate (IBO), Council of International Schools (CIS), British Schools Overseas (BSO) and a member of British Schools of the Middle East (BSME). It is also inspected by the UAE Ministry of Education.

The school has a core ethos of accommodating mixed, comprehensive entry, with students from over 63 countries and a host UAE population of 55%. International Secondary offers a wide range of IGCSE's and a  post-16 programme, with a choice of AS/A Level or the IB Diploma through Grades 11 and 12.
