European International School Ho Chi Minh City
This international school in Ho Chi Minh City was founded in 2009 and is a member of A-Star Education, Singapore. The school is an independent, co-educational and multicultural international school. The school is housed in purposefully-restored diplomatic villas and offers a unique oasis of calm and reflection within the city. They believe students should breathe clean and safe air so the school has invested in air purification and air pollution alarm system for the benefit of student health.
The school is authorised by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation as an IB World School. The IB programme is divided into the Primary Years Programme (Grades 1–5), the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–10), and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12). The IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
The school offers a rich and diverse programme of After School Activities (ASAs) for all students from Early Years to Grade 12. Students are given space and time to develop their artistic talents, social competencies, physical endurance and skills, as well as having fun in a supervised and supportive environment.
