Notes: It is highly recommended that you read through these brief notes
before starting to fill in your application form:

  1. Please only complete this application if you are sure you meet the criteria for applicants explained in the job advert and here on this page.
  2. Please fill in all sections of the form. It can only be submitted once all sections are completed. If you do this in one session it will take approximately 20 – 30 minutes
  3. You can copy and paste certain information from your CV or Philosophy statement but please do not make references to your CV in the answer fields – e.g. 'please refer to my CV' does not give a good impression
  4. You can save this form as you go along so you do not have to complete it all at once. You can do this by scrolling to the bottom of the application form and ticking "Save this form as a draft". A drop down box will appear which will ask you to create a password. Please make sure you have included your email address as this will be your username when returning to the form. You should take note of the email address and password you use for future reference; you will also be emailed these details when you submit your application.
  5. Please be aware that if you close your browser window without saving as a draft first, it will not keep your work for when you return.
  6. Pay particular attention to the supporting statement section. You should make sure that what you include here is relevant to Harrow and the post you are applying for.
  7. References: Please note that references will only be contacted if you mark them as a yes and if you are shortlisted. But this does not mean that you will necessarily be asked to attend interview. Please also be aware that Harrow will only ask candidates to interview if references have been supplied.
  8. Personal Information: Some applicants ask why we need to collect information regarding marital status and partner's occupation. These are asked for visa purposes so that we have all the relevant information about you should you be successful. They are not used as part of the selection criteria.
  9. Good luck with your application.
