TIC sponsors third annual International Heads Masters Golf Tournament

Last month was the third annual International Heads Masters Golf Tournament, organised by TIC’s very own Director Andrew Wigford. Held across two days, the tournament attracted 28 contestants including international Headteachers and leaders from as far afield as St Andrews International School in Thailand, PDO School in Oman, British School of Moscow, the International School of Havana in Cuba, and WCL School New York in the USA.

Principal of Jerudong International School in Brunei, Andrew Fowler-Watt was this year’s winner, with John Gwyn Jones, Principal of St. Christopher’s International Primary School in Penang, coming in second. TIC Director Andrew Wigford says: “It was a superb day of excellent golf and valuable networking. Even the Welsh rain didn’t dampen the spirits!”

The event was hosted at the Vale Golf Course in Wales, UK and was sponsored by TIC, ISC Research, Warwick Mann and WCBS. Anyone interested in participating in the 2014 Heads Masters Golf Tournament should contact Andrew at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Introducing the new TIC team

We are very proud to announce that we have two new additions to the TIC team! Firstly we have been joined by Hailey Fazekas, who will be our representative in the Middle East. Hailey is based in Doha, Qatar and already has fantastic experience in the recruitment and education sectors. Hailey will help us build and maintain strong relationships with teachers and schools in the area, making her an invaluable member of the team.

Secondly, Joanne Hattam has joined us in the office to further ensure we provide best quality service to our clients and candidates. Joanne joins us with a strong background in international customer care and recruitment. Keep an eye out in the News section soon for Q&As with our newest members!

The new school year begins!

This month has seen our teachers begin their first term in their new international schools. Over the past year TIC has placed hundreds of teachers in some incredible locations, including Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Bermuda and China! It has been fantastic to hear back from the teachers to hear how they have been settling in, and we’re happy to say that we’ve had great feedback so far.

Don’t forget there are still positions available, so if you would like to join these teachers in starting a new term somewhere different, head over to our Vacancies page now!
