Over 300 job applications have been made in the first few days of TIC’s Virtual Recruitment Fair. The Fair is taking place right now and will remain open until 31st March. There is still time for anyone interested in teaching overseas to register, attend the fair and apply for jobs. The Virtual Recruitment Fair is completely free for fully qualified teachers.

There are 15 very reputable international schools from many countries including Spain, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Doha and Mexico currently participating in the fair. Between them they are offering a wide range of teaching jobs spanning all school ages and many subjects.

I’ve had the chance to talk with several delegates and schools that are participating. “It’s such a great way to look for lots of really good quality jobs in one place,” said one teacher from Britain who has applied for two jobs, both of which she says would be “more than ideal”. Another teacher who is preparing to take early retirement from his teaching job in Ireland said “every evening after class this week I’ve been able to sit at my computer for an hour and log on to the fair. It hasn’t interrupted by work day. I’ve had chance to talk with several schools about contracts that are ideal for me and I’m now trying to decide if I go for a job in the Middle East or South East Asia. It’s a really exciting experience. I’ve told several other teaching friends about it and they’re participating too!”

There is no cost for teachers to participate. Simply contact Leisha at TIC on .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and she will help you to register. Hope to see you there!
